What Is Hikvision AcuSense Technology
As its name implies, Hikvision AcuSense Technology provides accurate sensing in security hardware. Its primary application is target classification. Empowered by deep learning algorithms, this technology distinguishes people and vehicles from other moving targets. Integrated with automatic triggering, AcuSense Technology takes alarm accuracy and search efficiency to a whole new level.
What Causes All the Frustration
The most common concerns in perimeter protection are trespassing and vehicle break-ins. Conventional perimeter security systems cannot distinguish between different types of moving objects, resulting in endless false alarms triggered by such things as raindrops, moving tree limbs, changes in lighting or shadows, small scurrying animals, and so forth.
Security personnel can spend hours handling false alarms, making it hard to focus on real threats in monitored areas. Reviewing video footage to locate an event can be another problem, as it may take hours of manual work.
Our Solution to the Problems
Hikvision AcuSense Technology classifies objects into three categories – human, vehicle, and other. The False Alarm Reduction can reduce up to 90% of the false alarm events while the Quick Target Search feature saves time by identifying footage of people or vehicles automatically, preventing staff from having to search through footage manually.
Hikvision’s latest AcuSense network camera also equipped with built-in strobe light and audio alarm, which could be triggered when a potential intruder has been accurately detected. This is designed to warn the intruder off before they attempt to breach the perimeter.
Where You Can Apply It
Hikvision AcuSense Technology can be used in a wide range of scenarios with perimeter protection needs, such as warehouses, industrial parks, parking lots, and residential areas, just to name a few.
